You can get some flashy wings by getting married, if that helps... I used them once wondering what they were, and destroyed the remaining 98 immediatelly while looking for a way to interrupt those things spawning from my back...

Lore nothing. Wings, elemental horses, glowing weapons. This is the type of tacky stuff I'd expect to see on a teens Deviantart page when they're going through that extravagant phase. In my eyes, the less of it (or rather, the more sparing use of it), the better.

Sure, that's your own personal preference, that's fine. Some people try to pretend that wings "wouldn't make sense" or "don't fit the lore" etc., however.

"I don't like wings and I don't want to see other people with wings either" is fair enough a statement. "It doesn't fit the rest of the game" isn't.

While I disagree with their decision to put Sleipnir up for purchase, the fight with Odin is in game, is it not?

My problem with wings is that there is nothing to support their being in game.

I can agree to that at least. I see no reason why it wouldn't make sense lore wise.
