Eh... It's too much. I'm not in favor of personal wings.

The restrictions they put on flight in Aion were incredibly dumb and the horrible netcode made it so that flying melee characters literally could not attack other players who were also flying.
They haven't implemented Aincrad yet anyways, so they should do that before they move on to Alfheim Online.
I wouldn't want wings, per se. That isn't very FF. Wouldn't mind "Wing-like" capes and things, like the Dreadwyrm or PvP gear, just a bit more pronounced.

This image is an example of the extent of wings I'd be okay with in this game.
Otherwise it's just overkill.
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.

This is the most stupid suggestion I've seem in this forum. This is my opinion, tho'. Adding wings, even if just cosmetics, would give this game a cheap and dork feeling, like one of those f2p korean games. Keep the game classy, please. We're already getting flying mounts.
have you not seen the reindeer outfit, all of the kabutos, the chocobo suit, the racing chocobo head gear, the goblin mask, the egg caps, and do you not own a mirror? This is the most stupid suggestion I've seem in this forum. wings could hardly make us look anymore dorky as you say...cause the Christmas surgar loaf hat is soooo classy...amirite? ....kk....lol
anyway op I like the idea of wings, I dobut though they would ever add it , the game is limiting in many ways (awesome in many others!!!...but still somewhat stagnant and very bland especially in gear design)![]()
I was just saying a few days ago, that it would be awesome to have our own "mog wings" or something![]()
In the context of a couple quests, possibly related to Aegyl lore or even some WHM path, sure. Otherwise, I'd really prefer flying mounts, not just to keep from 'cheapening' the aesthetics, style, class, or what have you of the game, but because if they do actually add in realistic flight gameplay (yes, I realize how unlikely that is), that means a whole lot more choices. Riding an Ahriman, a cloud serpent, and a dragon would each feel totally different. Take all that away in favor of a faerie land, and you just get the one mode of flight. And I guess one other reason would just be that I really don't want regular combat to transition into flight, which would be an easy and soon-pushed-for step if we went with personal wings. I could take dogfights, but I don't want to see people hovering in the air slapping each other with swords, which is what winged combat would probably be most of the time.

If there are wings added, they need to be mechanical or something that fits the spirit of what is in the game now. Mechs, flying ships, etc. It should visually make sense.
