New Player Bonus not appearing?~

Hello~!
So tonight I decided to try a new dungeon (AK Hardmode) and on entering, no prompt for new player bonus shows up in the chat log as per usual.
I explain that I'm new to the place, party says nothing, we go on our merry way.
At the end, after we've downed the boss, I'm asked if I bought my account because still no new player bonus. (Overreaction, much? D: ) And apparently, having everything 50 means I had to have completed all game content~
There's no way I could have 'accidentally' completed the dungeon before, I'd only just unlocked it earlier in the day D; and when I exited, the quest updated.

So out of curiosity, did another dungeon right after that I was yet to tackle (WP hardmode). This time, 2 of us in the party were new to it, but still no new player bonus shows up.

Has anyone else bumped into anything like this? (The new player bonus not showing up, that is XD Asshattery seems to be par for the course sadly )

WP HM, AK HM, and Keeper of the Lake do NOT have a new player bonus. New content never does, and those 3 dungeons were added in 2.5.
