Returning Player looking for East Coast FC

Stopped playing roughly a year ago due to time constraints - and to be completely honest was beginning to suffer from a little MMO burnout, so decided the best thing to do was to walk away for awhile and not come back until I was ready willing and able to put in the time/effort again - and that time has come. Came back a bit early for the 3.0 expansion ... mostly to catch up on content/gear, reconnect with social groups (or find new ones), and just get back into the swing of things in general before it arrives.

Little bit about me - over a dozen years playing MMO's ... from Asheron's Call 2 to FFXI for almost four years, WoW for five doing high-end raiding, then Aion, TERA, and finally here to FFXIV when ARR released. When I left second coil was just about to come out, and back then i90 gear was still king. So that's what I am coming back into - but that could be a blessing for a FC looking for a role to fill. I mainly play melee/dps classes, but have DRG, MNK, BRD, and SMN/SCH all at 50. Plan to add NIN to that list soon, and DRK when it releases next month (perhaps AST as well). I am comfortable with playing/gearing for multiple roles as needed by the FC.

Just started back yesterday, and picked up the ROG/NIN class to ween myself back into the game mechanics; have been looking for people I knew from friend list as I've been leveling, and as you can imagine after being gone a year I was cut from my old FC, but haven't run across a single soul I used to know ... so here I am ...

I'm looking to find a friendly group of mainly/mostly adults with a sizable number that play mid/late evening EST (early evening PST) ... one with an 18+ guideline and several different groups doing high/-er end content would be ideal. If there were one looking to fill a specific role in a static for 3.0 content and it is a job that I have in my arsenal, then all the better - please, let's talk. I work an odd repeating schedule of 2x 12 hr days at a time (with every-other weekend off), but am home at/before 9:15pm even on the days I work, and am online a considerable portion of the morning/afternoon on days I don't.

Would be perfectly okay with an invite into a larger social FC too, as long as there are a good number of people online during the times I am typically online.

If what you just read interests you, please post FC details below and provide in-game contact info, or have someone contact me in-game (IGN: Star Fury).

    Thank you for your time.

Do a search in the Lodestone for "The NET" linkshell. There's a multiple of them so pick the one that pertains to the server. The NET is a linkshell I created long time ago, but recently I have rebooted it to it's original concept which was an in-game communicate channel on the server for FC leaders. There are multiple layers to that linkshell than that's it being a chat channel, but first and foremost, it involves communication and networking. You could say that the FCs that joined are more or less active, and possibly friendly and helpful considering they have an interest in joining the NET LS. However, in your case, it can be used as a shorten list of possible FCs to choose from. The linkshell is still currently a work in progress, but the idea is to get all FCs on the server involved that are interested.

If you're online today between the hours of 6-12pm Central Time, send me a /tell and I'll invite you to the LS temporarily, so that you can have access to viewing the list of FCs that are collaborating with the LS and to an extent each other. Because of the 15/30/60? minute update delay on Lodestone, viewing a free company profile in-game will allow you to see a rough estimate of how many players would be active at the given time when you're online. Hope to hear from you soon if you haven't found a free company by then!

*** Here is the HRPC or RPC website that most people use for roleplaying if you would like to take a gander at it. If you click on the linkshell section, you should see a page of free company and linkshell profiles. Good luck at finding the free company or linkshell of your choice! o/
