That quest in my log annoys me and I want to clear everything that isn't coil once before hw.

Cool! No one's makin' you do any of that but you. You can always abandon the quest if you can't clear it, and since there's no content gated by beating Odin, that personal clear is on you and you alone.

With how difficult it is, won't it feel even better when you overcome that hurdle? Especially if you do it before heavensward, since by the time that rolls around it'll most likely be easier just due to gear inflation.

Anybody running this with 60's unsynced? What is your experience?

Trust me it needs a nerf. Tried this thing 4 different groups... Just not enough power to finish the boss. And now that they've gone and disabled bard ... It really should be adjusted.

Go in with an unsynced party you build on PF (have to do 7 right now since 8 is bugged and will level sync you, should be fixed with 3.01) and just steam-roll it.

I've noticed I have the same problem. I'll DF it, since it's been in my uncompleted quests, but every time we run, we get it to maybe 25% before it's a wipe and people start pointing fingers at one another and dropping out.

It's always been an MP issue with the healers in my runs, even though I've attempted to top myself off with my own heals when they're busy. But it's frustrating when people are impatient and just vote to abandon whether you want to or not.

Probably shouldnt be healing yourself in there. The dps you could be putting out is far more important. Less dps equals longer fight equals more heals needed. Its a rough fight on heals. But as long as the dps are dodging like they should be, instead of doing the "I'll just stand in the AOE because its the healers job to heal me, not my job to avoid damage...", it is easily manageable.
