I was unlucky enough to not get this done when it first came out, and now the queue times for it are astronomically long.
Once I do manage to get in, the fight proves very difficult for most folks and usually culminates in a wipe and people leaving right away.
This content doesn't provide much in the way of gear, so I'm thinking it would be beneficial now for new comers to give us echo buff or reduce its difficulty in some way and possibly add it to Duty Roulette Trials..

While I don't have an issue with the fight itself, Ive been very close to beating it before (1-2% sometimes), it has become frustrating to see that incomplete quest I may never get completed purely because there just are not enough interested players or rewards to justify the means.

I realize many folks may not share my opinion, but then, are those same folks actively doing this fight to help the queue in any way? :P

The only time I ever do it is PF groups for farming... I don't DF it at all.
I don't really think it needs a nerf at the moment. Have you tried getting a PF clear party together? I bet there's a few people who are trying to clear it as well.

There are a few old trials that are not popular and hard to get people together for. I recommend asking your FC members to help you complete it. Much more fun that way anyhow!

Most people don't queue for it in DF, it's much easier to do in PF with one tank and an extra DPS.

I believe Urth prefers the more traditional ones such as Classic Roman, Helvetica, and Tahoma. Word on the street however, is that lately he's been dabbling in Carbon Block. Wild and craaaaazy guy!

I just tried this for the first time last night, in the DF. We gave it a good try but never got it below 30%. As whm, I found it incredibly trying. Every time we tried I would run into mp issues. And I know I'm good with mp conservation. I don't know if my party was doing something wrong or not but I was having to absolutely spam medica after 50%. Since there's no reason to try really I'm not gonna bother going back.

Hmm... were you guys Esuna-ing off the first Bleed debuff after Einherjar? That one can be removed; it's only the second one while the spears are out during Gungnir that can't be.

It has no new mechanics to learn. I call it a potency battle, you only need to survive high damage, and do your best dps in return to win. That means it will be very trivial later on when people outgear it and have echo. I find healing is usually what people have a problem with right now. If you are lucky enough to get really great healers, you can barrel through it almost as easily as Garuda.

The problem with the fight is everyone at the minimum ilvl will maybe get him to 50% before he smokes you, especially with 2 tanks. And when you go DF, you will have at least 2 dps at the bare minimum.

Do it in party finder, set the minimum ilvl to at least 110, and have 5 dps and 1 tank. Easy fight.

I find it kinda funny Ultima HM was almost exactly like this quite a while back. The clear rate for that one is better now that people outgear it more, but it still isn't in a roulette either and doesn't have any significant enough drops that people want to do it more than once. I don't think giving Urth's Fount the 5% increment echo would be unreasonable (how old is it now? was that 2.4 or 2.5?), but if you do as several people have suggested and bring 5 dps, it's a lot easier.
