No class option for retainer?

So I made a new retainer and there is no class option? I looked on youtube guides and it shows there is supposed to be one after you create a retainer. So where did the class option go so I can send it on ventures?

If this is your first retainer there is a side quest you have to complete in one of the 3 major cities in order to unlock the ability to assign a class. If you've already completed that and this is a 2nd or 3rd retainer, then its a bug that you should report.
