    Please expand the minion system

    I love the little minions, but their use is far too restricted in Eorzea! No minion while in duty and no minion with companion out means that my minions never get to see the outside world very often

    Please consider a system where we can use our minions more often, perhaps bundle it with the housing system?

    I like to go around with my Puff of Darkness in my head
    I understand that having 8/24 minions going around when you are in a duty could feel too saturated but i don't understand why you can't use them when you have your companion out

    Minions in dungeons... please no. The tab targeting is wonky enough that I sometimes have to click target specific mobs that I want to focus on. Please don't give me more clickable things that clutter up my targeting.

    Don't make then tab...able.
    They use to be able to let us have minions in the phases but they were probably removed for that reasoning I think.

    I did, and my suggestion was to NOT make the minions targetable in dungeons.
    They just sit and roam. The only down-side is you aren't petting/feeding some.

    Er. I'm not sure you understand what I wrote. Sometimes tab targeting wonks out (or there's a ton of mobs in a big pull) and I have to target manually to get to the one I want. Having more crap around to click clutters things up.

    Minions don't need to be brought out while in duty. Outside of potential tab-targeting complications, there wouldn't be any useful reason for minions to be taken out while in an instance, and they'd only add visual clutter.. The more players with minions out the more visually cluttered and confusing the dungeon would be for everyone else. Also I'd hate to see the effects of this on 24-player instances like WoD for ps3 players or those with less powerful computers.

    I think minions are fine as is. I don't personally need one out while using my chocobo companion, but they're fun to have around while crafting or gathering or anything else I might do outside of those two things, so it doesn't seem that restricted to me. That could just be me and my personal playstyle though.

    Minions can't come out when chocobos are out in order to limit on screen characters. I support that limitation since the game would become that much more unplayable on the ps3. As for in dungeons I'm ok as long as it's not possible to tab target them.

    Even if they're untargetable I'd rather not see minions in dungeons. . They're toys (or pets).

    Housing system sounds fun though, really hope SE can turn housing into a resting place of achievements- pets and toys included (as found in many other games, like SRPGs).
