    Gamestop Pre order code issues for Heavensward?

    So I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue for pre-orders at GameStop for Heavensward:

    I was looking online the other day and saw that their website says that pre-order codes for bonus items and early access will be printed on the receipt at the time of pre-order. http://www.gamestop.com/pc/games/fin...ensward/119872

    I checked my receipt for said codes and didn't see them, so I stopped into the store I pre-ordered it in and asked about the codes. The store manager told me I will still get the pre-order codes and related items/access but not until I pick up the game. I asked him the early access though and he said he didn't know about that, but he could not give me any pre-order codes or anything else until I picked up the game.

    Anyone having this problem with GameStop pre-orders?

    I preordered Heavensward before the game officially announced the preorders at gamestop, so I didn't have a receipt with the codes. I talked to my local gamestop manager and he just printed a receipt code for me. the code works just fine, and does include early access. My gamestop manager wasn't really aware there was early access either, but seeing as I knew about ffxiv more he took my word for it. Sorry your having problems with your gamestop, and I hope you can get your code before early access goes live.

    Sounds like you preordered before GS had the codes in their system. To get your pre order code you will have to get the guy to cancel your pre order and re do it so it will print on the receipt.

    this is correct. you may have to cancel and redo the order on your end, but you shouldn't have to. I did the same as above, and all the manager had to do was print what's called a backup code. the sku is 108254. it works perfectly fine. It lists the code at the bottom, and that you will gain all the preorder bonus items including early access.

    p.s. I talked to another gamestop employee and he said it actually lists the preorder bonus on the video they run in the store, so the manager should know about it by now. I hope you can get it all worked out.
