Speak for yourself. I do Low Level Roulette all the time as do most of my friends. I find it more enjoyable then the LV 50 dungeons. The problem is that, as things stand, very few higher-level players are willing to go back and do low-level dungeons if they don't have to (either leveling a new class or because they need a drop). I don't know anyone who does LLR unless they need it... why? Because it's extremely boring.
Read what she actually said:
That doesn't mean people don't.
I don't really think it's necessary. Low level is fine without the extra abilities. I do it all the time. The 20 and under dungeons can be kinda meh but other than that it doesn't bother me. I'd rather them dedicate resources to new content personally.
Some people do, sure. But, in my personal experience, the percentage is far, far smaller than the ones who run high-level roulette, expert, and trials on a regular basis.
Personally, I avoid low-level dungeons like the plague unless I'm helping a friend, trying to get a drop, or leveling an alt class. The time spent and mind-numbing boredom just aren't worth the rewards for me, because I don't find sitting there pressing 1-2 3 1-2 1-2 3 over and over again to be fun at all.
She said "very few" simply because she and her friends don't do it.
I say my friends and I do run it.
So where does that leave us? With no solid numbers on either side. Stop being silly and saying that something isn't popular just because you don't like it.
If your healer's on top of it it could work, sure. If not, well...
Yeah, but think how that person feels going into the dungeon wanting to tank it... and then it being completely impossible for them to keep aggro. You think there's no tanks now? Imagine if the role had difficulties in lower level content due to level synced DPS using overpowered abilities. I dunno about you, but if I feel like a class or role is ineffective I don't tend to find it very fun. If something isn't very fun for me, I don't keep playing it. Playing a tank and having a DPS or healer tell me "It's OK, just DPS and I'll tank it." is pointless to me. Why even play a tank if they aren't needed? And of course we'd have the inevitable few asshats that would kick un-synced tanks from dungeons simply for not having their full array of skills available. Honestly, it's just more trouble than it's worth. This gives players incentive to become more powerful because they can see how such abilities would help them. Of course they would be better, however I don't get mad if a level 30-39 PLD loses aggro to me, I just say: You dps I will tank. Really also, is that bad? Nope.
Lol, if a BLM was tanking everything when I had to tank it I would not only find that "fun" but humorous! =P
They are needed, what gave you that silly notion girl? People play a tank to be infront of the group and keep aggro, but Tank DPS without tank stance isn't that bad. If it is they need a DPS increase. Although At least I don't feel bad DPS when I play my tank. Then again, I just do dungeons.
I've been playing Tanks since 2003, yeah they are hard to play. However I don't get butthurt if a DPS rips aggro. I consider the "tank" the one with the aggro, if hes ripping from me it means hes just a better tank.

I for one, speaking as a BLM, do not want aggro, and don't want to rip it. You tanks can have it all you want.
You are completly missing her point, If a low level tank goes into an instance and always get overpower overzealous DPS (which there is alot of them) he will feel completly useless and even wonder why he's bothering to try and tank and most likely quit to join the DPS fray in fourth making the tanking community lose once more what possibly could have been a good tank because he was unable to be given the chance to see if he was good enough.
And again it may not bother you but maybe it would bother someone else.
