North America: Charge for Heavensward

I read the Europe FAQ for pre-ordering and it states that they will be charged 10 days before the official release of the expansion.

I am in North American and want to know if the same applies to us. I want to make sure the funds are in my account prior to the money being taken out so I don't get an email that I can't get early access or something.

Please don't flame as this is not covered in the North America FAQ and I want to get this cleared up since I have worried about it since I pre-ordered in April.

Best advice: Assume it is, have the money there.
You're going to get charged it anyway, having it in your account 10 days before is playing it safe.

I plan to make sure it is in there 10 days prior, more like 12 days prior just want to be sure so I can let my wife know and she won't use the money.

Can't you let her know anyway? Just tell her that you aren't sure WHEN you'll be charged, and to leave the amount of $ alone until Heavensward is out?

If SE runs true to form you will get a reminder a couple of days prior to when they actually make the charge. Check your confirmation e-mail for the pre-order. Mine said it would be approximately 10 days in advance.

Yup. Checked the order confirmation, and it says:

"Please also note that we have not charged you yet. You will be notified by email before we debit your account, which will occur a few days before the delivery of your pre-order."
