Try not to take things so personally

As with any MMO or online game, you need to have thick skin. I have been the target of some salty players and i have seen players get the same treatment.

my advice would be just to try to ignore it. If its a reportable offense, report it. The worst thing you can do is get down because of someones salty attitude

sometimes one thing can set off a person, sometimes they can just be mean cause they want to.

and keep in mind that not all people are like that.

Today, i went into AK HM and got called bad when i was focused on the boss being at sub 10% and he had someone trapped. lucky, the tank and healer got him out, but it was an honest mistake. sometimes you get called names just because you made a minor error. He was mad because it could have killed him. Not wipe the party sub 10%, just killed him.

Went into another dungeon and got 2 of 3 commodations.

Morale of the story, people are pricks, and sometimes you just gotta brush it off your shoulders.

I just report folks and hope they get some sort of punishment.
Can't be letting these people go all over because they wanna be a tool. Everyone has a bad day, but you have no idea how other people
in your party are feeling too. I've been victim to jerks in runs and I report it. The GM's are INCREDIBLY friendly so it cheers me up.
I even report for other people because you get sick of people being bullied all the time.
I use to be very very sensitive now I'm very sensitive lol...Words do hurt even if it's on the net.

Also helps if you be wary of the words you choose. The wrong words can cut deeper than any blade.

Well if everyone would just play the game like I do, there would be no issues.

I like to respond to those kinds of people with the /blowkiss followed by the /grin emote. Nothing makes a salty player more angry then them knowing they can't drag you down to their level.

I'll admit that I used to get annoyed with people getting upset about the way I handle things simply because it's not how they would do it, but after so many times of them blaming me for problems they create, I've just started either ignoring them if they persist after my initial response. Dwelling on it too much just makes you feel worse, and can cause issues. I'll admit, I still have anger issues from time to time if a bad tank or something is blaming everyone else and ranting that we should all leave so they can get "good" players in their group, but over all I try to keep my cool about it. The best part about going into a duty with strangers is the fact that odds are you'll never see them again, so just let it go and move on.....

If you really have problems with it, just try joining a FC, make some friends, and only run stuff with them....

i normally just don't dignify those people with further conversation if they are going to be rude. Those are normally good days, i don't have to be irritated at something, and someone gets laughed at for talking to the air.

When I meet rude players I just ignore but my boyfriend that plays with me /laugh at them ^^'
If they are extremely rude, even toxic maybe, then I report.

ps:just a little advice for that boss fight: you can target that slime like you can target the bubble in Brayflox nm and free yourself.
So instead of annoying you, that player could have freed himself

There are actually two versions of the slime. A small one, you can free yourself from. And a big slime that locks your abilites; you need your team mates help to free you from this.

Usually I ignore rude players. I only reply if they get too extreme in there insults.
