<MOD> Modified Recruiting SCH/WHM/PLD/WAR for 3.0

We're a hardcore static on Gilgamesh that's been clearing final coil for months, and we're looking for a Scholar or Paladin to join us for our weekly clears and all of the raid content moving forward from 3.0 (including Alexander hard mode - get hype!). During non-progression, we raid Tue (sometimes Wed/Thurs due to conflicts) 9pm-12am EST; when there's fresh new content, we aim to raid as much as possible. We ask that members are able to take a few days off work/school/responsibilities around new raid content. To give you an idea, during Coil3 progression we were online the moment servers came up at 4am and essentially stayed online until people were too tired to perform effectively about 16 hours later. Then we took 5 or so hours to sleep and went back in for another 20 hours. The rest of the week was spent raiding the moment members were home from work which usually came to 5-7 hours a night until the content was dead. We have a proven track record of timely kills, including server firsts on Turns 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 with World 3rd Turn 11 and World 5th Turn 12.

On a personal level, we're all players who love the game. We have been playing since launch, and will probably be playing quite a while longer. I feel like we strike a great balance between performing at a high level and enjoying ourselves with a more laid-back atmosphere - we're the type that can handle wiping on tough new content with a smile, a desire to improve, and probably some good-natured ribbing. We do a lot of stuff together outside of raiding and even outside of the game - recently a lot of us have been putting big hours into the recent Diablo 3 patch and Heroes of the Storm.

Our first group is looking to fill 2 spots. Possible jobs are SCH/PLD/WHM/BLM/SMN.

Our second group that has a more relaxed schedule is looking to fill 1 spot. Possible jobs are NIN/WAR. I've been told to mention that this group is dog friendly.

That should give a good sense of what our group is like. Let's talk a bit about what we're looking for in your application:

you're on Gilgamesh or are willing to transfer to Gilgamesh
you're a well-geared and talented SCH/WHM/PLD/WAR (we'll need some proof of this)
you're reliably available during raid times (see first paragraph)
in the rare event you can't make a raid, you kindly let people know with significant advanced notice
you've either cleared T13 or have at least seen into the last phase and have the mechanics down pat
you're willing to join our FC, Modified
you play on PC and have a functioning microphone, access to Mumble, and a good internet connection
you're friendly and maintain good humor even when wiping during progression
you love the game and plan to be playing for a long time
you're the type that likes to chat about random interests, run random other content every so often, and even play other games or watch random shows with us because you think a raid group should be about a little more than just raiding
"you set your own curfew" (in addition to just a light age/maturity check, interpret this as: we're all mid-late 20s with regular schedules and would prefer not to have to deal with things like school events or homework during raid time. sorry!)
