PS4 registration issues

Hi folks,

I am having issues with my gf's ps4 copy of the game. Starting off, I got the game via Gamestop, new but opened...yea. Inside the case, was 1 12-digit code. I entered the code and got everythign downloaded.

My gf today is trying to log in and its not letting her play, something about no game registered. She has created her SE account via mog station. Is there a step that we are missing?

History:
I bought the PS4 version for myself then added the Windows version so I can play on me laptop with her playing on the PS4. Our end goal, we want to play together on the same server and such.

Any help would be appreciated

Has she verified her email address and created her Square enix account/and the mog station? And then linked that to her ps4 account? I can't remember the process exactly but it took a while for me to get it done >_<

Yes, she has verified her email and created her mog station account. Is there another SE account she needs to create beyond mog station? I havent been able to find where to link her PSN account to her mog station account. It's been a while since I registered, I cannot remeber all the details and steps

I think so? That's where I went wrong. Did she use the registration form on the PS4 or via the pc? When she starts the game and logs in, does she get any errors? There should be a code on the back of the booklet to put into psn as well. I can't remember but I think you have to go through the profile page on mogstation/se account site and then there will be a "activate/link psn account" option there somewhere?

If you go to mogstation and then "register service account" you should be able to put the ps4 licence code in on there to activate iirc

Ok, so I was able to track down a registation code for SE. I added it and also found where to link her PSN account to her SE account. Mog station is still not registering that there is a game license linked to it

Have you gone to the service account options and added it in there?

I have tried all the codes I can find, but they are not long enough and they dont work...I may need to make a few phone calls

did you make sure you clicked on ps4 registration and not PC?

IIRC, the PS4 registration code is not entered via the Mog Station, but directly in the game. I think the process was like this:

1. With the physical PS4 game, you get a code for the PSN store that looks like this: ABCD-ABCD-ABCD (there might be some digits in there)
2. Go to the PSN store

CAREFUL: Be sure that you are logged in with the correct PSN account!

3. Enter that code. The PSN Store should now offer you the download of the game.
4. After download and installation, start the game and log in using your SE account (username, password and maybe one-time-password, if you already have one).

If you do not already have a FF14/SE-Account, the game should offer you to create one.

5. Registration should now proceed normally.
