Version Check Error after downloading Heavensward (PS4/PSN)

So I was spamming T13 tonight as usual and afterwards I was gonna do ex roulette and some crafting and stuff after the majority logged off, one of the boys were going for a fag so I was like "alright man, I'll check out what this download is all about". Left the game, restarted, and it gave me a "setting up for first time" thing (which took about 45 minutes), then I clicked Play and it said "version check error" and gave me this [20458][24530][20457][404].

I then exploded, realizing that there's not really a way to reinstall the game on PS4 without losing all my gear sets, HUD, macros, etc....... come on, SERIOUSLY?! Why would you guys allow for this to be released?

If you wipe and reinstall, it won't delete settings as long as you delete from the XMB - NOT from system menu. I've had to do the same twice yesterday due to this same error and haven't lost any of my settings!

If you want to be cautious before deleting the application (good idea), you can export your current savegame (the savegame contains your crossbars, gear sets, macros etc.) via the PS4 settings menu to a USB stick (50MB, maybe 100MB, should be enough. Make sure the stick is FAT32 formatted, NTFS will not work). You do NOT need to backup the whole application (several GB).

After that, wipe the application, reinstall from the PSN store (WITHOUT Heavensward), restore your savegame (if necessary at all), log in again, take a break (about 6200 MB will be downloaded after logging in), and should be back in business.
