I play on Jpn servers and the last time i got a RMT message was October of last year when ninja released
So this is why SE nerfed SoF.

If I'm correct most of JP's rmt is all on off site third-party forums and the like. Basically the ads at the top or sides of sites and the like. Atleast what I've seen talked about here.
That said the nerf probably is making it easier for them to prepare to get into the new areas, but even without it they'd probably make it based on the positinal hacks and all that...I kinda want to see one in my group one day since I haven't yet, before reporting them of course.

When you say "Waking Sands," do you mean the instanced zone with the Scions? Seeing RMT popping through the floor there would be like seeing them pop up in your Inn room. Or do you mean you saw them out in western thanalan near the waking sands?

Unless they changed something, waking sands is a phased area, not instanced. It can appear instanced now that most people have moved forward, but back at launch, you never went to see Minfilia without having to cam through 30 other players all grouped in front of her desk.
"Ul'dah can keep their dusty markets, and their streets paved in silver and gold.
Limsa Lominsa keep your pirates, and your ships covered in musty mold.
My loyalty lies with Gridania, with the Moogles and the tree spirits of old." -The Forky Conjurer

I think they have changed it around 2.1 or 2.2, there is never anyone else at all in there.Unless they changed something, waking sands is a phased area, not instanced. Outside Waking Sands in Western Thanalan. They were targeting Tataru then despawned.

Bots have been doing MSQ for a while now. If you can get to the CT quest series, you've got a couple mil in the bank from the Tier IV materia rewards, for example.
