A better launcher.

I was thinking how much better the launcher would be if actually had news from the Lodestone posted. That way people that don't visit the Lodestone everyday or even know about it could learn about the various game changes. Heck they could have links to the pages that teach you how to play the game or about all the keyboard commands on there as well.

Does anyone else agree?

Well hopefully if they ever updated the launcher it would be faster.

compared to WoWs and rift launcher.. FFXIV launcher is very basic..i was thinking about this too.launcher with news and ffxiv articles like the ones about the grand companies and the garlean empire

They said a long time ago there working on a better launcher. But they did say they can't display something like POL version when you going to select your char you see a video playing of the game at least that what they said.

Don't understand why they left it so basic pretty much it the launcher from Beta. I hope around P2P or before we get a better launcher.

This would be nice, but like so many things it's probably pretty low on their list of priorities.
