I'm a BLM. During Sephirot normal yesterday I was "helping" a raid member clear normal so we can move on to Ex next week.
During the fight I was nailing my rotation pretty good, even managing to squeeze casts in during the blue circles (which is bloody F'ing hard SE!)

I was doing the mechanics perfectly and then the second Tornado part, I was just in the groove, with Ley Lines and Raging Strikes doing the 6xF4, F3P and T3P "opener".
Then I died, realizing I was supposed to have stacked in the Tornado and everyone was like well

So, aparently I suck at barding.

I went to do the SSS for seph with it and it didnt turn out very well...

Anyway, so I went to Midas 4 with it for a change of pace, adds pop after Executioner is cast and I go for mine...
1st time: I am hitting my add and killing it just fine, AoE pops under me so I move to avoid it, except I didnt move enough so the thing still hits me...

2nd time: Here I am once more hitting my add, and I THINK I got it, so I return to the boss, except it turns out I didnt get it and the add was alive with a 1% HP, then exploded and got us all debuffed...

3rd time: Here I was with the same shitty add in the same shitty corner, and this time I MAKE sure to kill it and avoid the circle AoE, not sparing ogcds to take it properly down, and I got it down! So I turn back on the boss and see it looking my way... next thing I know a white light flashes upon my screen as if the boss took a snap shot of me saying "smile, bitch" and my dead body was left limp at the corner of shame...

So, aparently I do suck at barding...

I was running BLM in a Sephi EX farm. Got the green debuff, grabbed a tether, and proceeded to walk right off the front edge of the arena in front of Sephiroth. FML

So this was like the first or second week after 3.2. My friend needed a bard to fill in for his static for Seph EX progression since their bard was going to be late. So I semi-reluctantly join since they're still doing phase 1 progression. They're explaining mechanics to me and I'm trying to not give myself a panic attack over screwing anything up. We wipe a couple times, usually at the double stack mechanic, and we're prepping for the next pull. The tank's pull macro is going off and I go to hit Internal Release only to hit Bloodletter. While targeting Sephiroth. Pulling him.

Luckily it wasn't as big a deal as I made it out to be and turned out to be the best pull they'd had yet. Still I was a bit relieved when their regular bard showed up since I was still a bit mortified.

OMG... Worst one i did. I was doing titan ex, got put in the stone thing, well as i was put in titan decided to do his knockback aoe and i coulda sworn it was right on top of where i was trapped, so as soon as they broke me out i figured i needed to move out of the aoe, and instead it was just next to the stone thing, and i walked right into it thinking i was dodging it.... Oh well, lol. I'm usually not that dumb, but for some reason my brain just didnt want to work at that point in time.

I'm gonna put this here, because they don't have one for tanks. And I don't really derp on dps other than the standard stuff (Elusive Jump into AOE or off the Arena, Assassinate while AOE going off, etc... It's a rite of passage, right?)

While tanking as PLD, I've been known to completely forget entire phases of fights. I don't mean, forget what to do for them. It's like I just black out, and here were are having adds spawn before divebombs, and I'm like, "wait, where'd twin go? what phase are we on?" [That could be either T5, or T13... it fits for both.]

not being a hardcore EX Primal or Savage runner still had my fair share of epic fails. Most notable that sticks in my mind: Running Titan HM as BLM bombs dropped and as I was trying to avoid the explosions derpy not paying attention and got caught in landslide. WEEE of the ledge i go. Another was on the last boss of Neverreap last year as brd: Repelling Strike right off the ledge. @_@ Lol Go me. XD

I have two stories actually!

So you're all familiar with Waukekon right? (sorry if I spelled that wrong, he's the final boss of Neverreap)

So whenever he first came out my good friend Zameh was REALLY prone to walking off or getting knocked off, he'd do it EVERY fight and we'd never stop giving him crap for it. Then awhile ago we were going to fight him again and my friend Khar goes "Hey Zameh remember when you always used to fall- *Khar walks off the cliff* -off... here.."

Then there's a few moments of silence as the rest of us burst out dying laughing and ultimately get wiped by Waukekon
