Last night I went through void ark like... 5 times...

I wanted that drop badly...

At Echidna, when it splits into 3, one snake is drawn to a far side and so I follow, throw my Flaming Arrow and... completely miss my target...

Got my first battle high in PVP and then got caught with my pants down. My alliance ran away from the cave node across the map while I stood there thinking, "Where are they going? I'm staying here, we're about to win."

The past 2-3 matches we'd started in caves. I spontaneously forgot this was not one of those matches. The entirety of Maelstrom swarmed me as they finished respawning like an ocean of oh fuck.

I... need to start going to bed earlier.

Oh boy, had to post this interesting run from a couple of nights ago. Running an expert and got Arboretum. Tank and healer both geared and I'm an i208 BLM; other dps was a fairly geared SMN. We start pulling and after the third pull, I start noticing things are dying incredibly slowly. So I start looking for a potential issue, and sure enough the SMN isn't even casting any dots. He is dropping shadow flare, using painflare for stacks I guess and then going into dreadwyrm. Each pull is easily taking 2+ min. So I asked why he wasn't dotting. He says, "Because everything is dying too fast, I'll dot the boss." Then the tank spoke up and the SMN proceeded to say, "I know how to play my job." I was baffled. Needless to say, he was kicked shortly after that.

I may or may not have been the healer. If not...same thing happened in one of my runs, classes and all.

Thordan ex... was killed by:
- Ice frost
- Pinky stepping on the wall then tethered hit on phase 4
- Dive on my head
- Holiest of Holy with B4B pop
- The quakes in meteor phase
- Wack on the back of my head by one of the knights in phase 3
- Meteors hitting the ground

I am as amazed of how many times I died without repeating a single one, as ashamed of how much I bit the dust that night.

Generally speaking, anytime I get focused on doing my burst rotation as a MCH. I've had so many times that it's nearly gotten me killed, or made me look like a complete idiot.....

Probably my biggest corner of shame moment lately though, was during the next to last boss of Void Ark. The wipe mechanic hit the floor right as I started to cast, so I went to run over to the platform. While I don't know how it is for PC, on PS4 the jump button is the same as the "cancel casting" button. I went to jump on the platform but because the casting hadn't completely gone away yet, I didn't jump and instead "cancelled" the cast. Moving straight into my next attack thinking I was going to land on the platform, I started another cast. I then panicked and tried to jump up, only for THAT attempt at jumping to cancel my new attack. Right as the wipe hit, I finally managed to jump, only to land in the middle of the platform, dead......

I was on Oppressor, and it was at 2% or so, 0.5 maybe had 3%. Someone said something about LB, so my idiot self decided to LB 3 the Oppressor. Needless to say we instantly wiped.
