Last night in the great library, I was doing okay until the last boss of the dungeon, when the party leader told me to LB the remaining health on it. (It wasn't completely needed and also I am BLM so even less so, but still...) I use Ps4 and completely forgot how use the LB as I hadn't used one since I started playing HW. XD So what became of it was, I stood there looking like and idiot doing NO DPS getting hit by AOEs AND those spheres he places on you and almost ended up dying for the last bit of the fight.

I got no commendations this day. XD

Speaking of LBs, on yesterday's expert roulette, at the last boss of Neverreap, our Tank fell off the edge pushed away by the big AoE (cuz he didn't position himself properly) and so I ended up Tanking the boss as a no-positional MNK with a DRG as my companion... that had all sort of wrongs on it... but sad thing is that I died at the last 10% during LB2 animation, and because I died, the damage didn't go through, even tho it played completely...

Then my healer friend totally forgot I was still there and she could have ressed me but instead ran around in circles shooting it down while stepping on my face several times D:

Back in the old days, when Mog Ex was still a bit hard, I was asked to help friends to clear. No problem, I said. I main a healer, but the 2 players we were willing to help were also healers.. Okay then, I'll use monk, I thought. "Just let me reassign skills fast, I haven't used it for months" And there it goes, wipe once, wipe twice... wipe 6 or 7 times and we finally reach the moment he starts casting Memento Mog.

Friend of mine says "Monk, LB", as I was the only melee.
Oops, I thought, forgot to reassign THAT one skill. Tried to browse quickly into the menu. Too late.

I was running Tam-Tara Deepcroft on my pugilist for the first time. Now, I normally heal on my White Mage, so I was taking extra precautions to be a nice, well-behaved damage dealer for the run. You know, staying out of stuff, getting properly positioned, etc...

We get to the final boss and we are doing great then the tank shouts out for me to do a Limit Break.

Limit Break?

Oh hell. I forgot to put that ability on my action bars! I quickly open my book, grab Limit Break, and click it. I had about 0.25 seconds of relief until I noticed I had an add targeted instead of the boss.

There was an incredible display of punches and lights and a skeleton drops. Uh... Oops?

Thankfully, the rest of the group laughed it off and I learned to always double check who I have targeted before releasing the big boom.

Not a dps derp but in Bis HM today I walked off the ledge trying to avoid an attack. Oops

Did this in ravana ex, the bit where you back up to get the orbs to follow you, unfortunately I just kept walking backwards and fell off the side
that was my loldrg moment for the evening.

doing BLM things, throwing out aoe and double flares etc throughout the run

tank decides to do big pull do to AOE dps being good
AST throws enhanced arrow on me to pump out the damage faster, time dilates it etc, nin throws the smokescreen on me, all set

get the first double flare off and then

nothing

id hit transpose to soon and was now stuck in astral fire 3 with no MP and no convert coz id used it, and no potions in my inv.

so i stood there like an idiot while the ast fought to keep the tank up and then when i finally had the mp to cast ice's to get mp regen back up all buffs had dropped and the ast was nearly oom

I once used Aetherial Manipulation in T13 during Megaflare when I had to stack for the small circles. I timed it so perfect that I got hit by one of the circles in the middle of the way.

I also once Mage LB3'd the last set of nails in Ifrit Ex during 2.X times. Boy, those 6 Vulnerability stacks....

I do not do many things as a DPS, so when I actually do, I am very nervous. Especially cause the whole time I'm thinking about things that annoy me as my main, a healer. So I always try to make sure I'm not too far back from aoe, stun if it's okay, E4E, second wind, etc.

But, because I'm so worried about that, I forget things like placing Shadow Flare, or using Raging Strike... For at least half-way through the dungeon.

Got Never reap in roulette with FC friends, smooth run. Get to final boss and I thought I'd do pull with Jump for fun.

Jump then dump aggro using Elusive jump...right off the ledge
