Yeah they need to do something about this. Like a button combination would be cool.
How about letting wireless controllers reconnect after it disconnects first... they can just reassign the "view status effect" button to the item menu.
Come on Devs! We need this!
+1
Although I'm sure it will eventually be addressed, unless the PS3 version ships with a keyboard.
I never understood why there just wasn't a choice in the inventory screen to use an item from there- we can sort, seek repair, discard etc but not use an item![]()
there are plans to have items be used by macros. there is also a plan for macros to be set to the main action bar.
You can currently use items through macros actually =P
i'd like this fixed to, make it so u can eat food and items in inventory or put those open menu's in the main menu ...something that don't make me have to mouse click to do it.
...hell i wish they would bring back ffxi chat box, it was way better for controller as well, click on controller and it opens it ..u can pull it all way super size open and all that with controller. easy peasy.
and while we at it i still find using macro's in battle a little bit meh. all i really use them for is gear swaps, spell swaps and party calls. a /assist <t> and /asist "Name Here" might be cool too.
here is the dev post, i i wasnt able to recall the ifo correctly,
We'll be addressing drag and drop along with the upcoming action bar adjustments. In the future we are planning on making various adjustments and we are looking into additional features such as increasing the amount of actions displayed and being able to set items and macros directly on the bar.
