Why is the square Enid store so useless?

I would not recommend the "square Enid" site. If you really are serious about purchasing the game, try the official Square Enix store.

Sounds like a knockoff scam to me, like Popsi(Pepsi), or Nikke(Nike). You should definitely be using the official Square Enix store.

Often times authentication errors are due to the company's inability to process your specific credit card. Be it that the card information was entered incorrectly, or the card number and billing information are incorrect or mistyped, or you are attempting to use a card that the company does not accept (certain cards arent as widely accepted as Visa or MC), and as Grimmel mentioned, if you try to use a NA credit card on the EU store it may not work either.

Square Enix's store however does offer paypal, which can be a good work around if your card is not accepted. Paypal acts like a middle man for you. I dont know if you have a paypal account or not, but it is worth a shot, and many companies accept Paypal online, so its worth it to have.
That being said, if you dont want to use Paypal and your card is accepted by Amazon.com you can buy the digital copy of Heavensward here if you have an NA account: HERE
Keep in mind however, that Amazon has not yet released their preorder bonus codes, whereas the Square Enix store codes are now available to enter on Mogstation.

I have issues using my credit card on the mog station as well, it can often have errors when purchasing and when I contacted them they said if an error occurs it locks your card for 24 hours from buying from the store.

My order with the Square Enix e-Store (NA) is also in flux at the moment.

• My order gets caught in the "waiting for verification" phase for a week.
• I inquire with customer service.
• Service rep informs that I'm caught by their anti-fraud system, wants a copy of my ID.
• I decline and ask for the order to be canceled.
• Service rep replies to say that I've been cleared from the anti-fraud system and my order is all-green to go.
• I reply to say that in that case I want my order finalized as I'd like to buy from the official source.
• I receive an email that informs me my order have been canceled.
• 10 days have passed an nothing.

SO...now I don't know if I should just re-order...

I seriously think for PC Download versions of all expansions we should be able to just buy it like any optional item on the Mog Station using our existing payment information.

Not even going to inquire about pre ordering till the official PSN version is on the store. When this game first release. My entire pre order experience as a nightmare. I ended up with a free copy as a result but I'd rather not deal with crap. 3 days earlier didn't really benefit me then I can wait. I'll download on the 23rd.
