No one measures healing over time in this game. I main white mage and have done all kinds of challenge heals like solo heal T10, T9, have healed every fight in the game to completion and can't remember a time where anyone even talked about healing over time. The only thing people care about is whether or not I got the MP to keep healing cuz a white mage overhealing = a white mage standing around with no MP to heal anymore.

My monk does 600-620 DPS typically in most fights and that is considered exceptional DPS. As long as you are getting 500 in FCoB no one is going to say much of anything to you cuz 500+ is considered good and can meet all DPS checks just fine.

But if you're getting 400-450 (or less) in 15-20% echo fights with i130 gear you should read a guide and try to fix your rotation because that means something is very wrong with it. I only mention this echo fight parse because I see it happening way too much and it truly is unacceptable in my opinion but I can't really mention people's numbers because it's against ToS so I need to keep them blissfully unaware of their bad rotations >_>

I agree. BLMs in T11 hitting 350 dps, so I'm told, is just... really? I mean, you have your lilith rod zeta and everything lol Honestly though, as long as we are clearing it isn't an issue, just a personal pet peeve.

Average amount of healing or HPS as its called (Heals Per Second) is never going to be an average, its all differentiated between mitigation, cooldowns, fluctuated numbers and so forth, as well as the other counterpart of overhealing which is also a very meh calculation due to regeneration ticks, clipping targets who dont need hp such as a cure III etc.

Average DPS also fluctuates between roles and the fight, if a fight involves a lot of movement, e.g: t11, then casters are gonna lack considerably more than melee, if a fight involves static mechanics such as titans goals where the target is basically locked, then that will also affect dps, on average for most fights in the game people who know their role could easily pull 400 at the current item level of gear being i130. anything below 400 then something is wrong in my honest opinion. at a push of a leway mark id say anything from 370+. and thats before echo, theres not a 15% buff to everyone, so these numbers should be heavily exceeded.

but remember deaths effect everything etc.

For a BLM in Final Coil, if you're doing over 500, you're doing something right. If you're doing under 400, you're doing something wrong. This is in i130 gear of course.

It would be really hard to list this for all classes as there are so many variables outside of ilvl (fights setup, roles in fight, rotations, errors, deaths, limit breaks, latency, weapon damage, number of targets, team buffs, food, etc.).

For a Ninja specifically (assuming you have some basic knowledge and concept of your general rotation/priorities and understand dps mechanics) at ilvl 130 you should be pushing at around 500 and with i110 about 400. These are extremely generalized numbers however and mileage can vary substantially but these numbers can be hit with mistakes. As for the "average" ninja I'd say the number is probably less than that but all things considered I don't think the "average" player is concerned with dps numbers or min/maxing in that realm. Hitting the above numbers will put you above the average ninja player from my experience as far as damage output is concerned but it should be noted that the max potential dps at the mentioned item levels is a quite a bit higher. I think it's necessary to point out that not hitting the above numbers in no way makes you a bad player. This game is rewarding for those willing to practice and get better and as you learn and understand the classes you will be able to push higher numbers so don't be discouraged if you just hit 50, grabbed some soldiery gear/weapon and aren't pulling those numbers right out of the gate. If you are willing to practice and assess your mistakes however they are very realistic numbers to hit.

That being said if you are doing below 300 with a ninja at ilvl110 or higher you are doing something very wrong.
I would also highly advise against macroing your mudras of combos if you are serious about maximizing damage.
