    Can warriors get an appearance hammer?

    I just want a hammer or maul to swing around for my warrior, or for a paladin a 1 handed mace would be really cool!

    Different weapon choices for different classes (that make sense!) would be a huge buff to appearance. You can also sell them on the store for $$$!

    Suggestions:

    GLD:
    1h Mace, Spiked Club.

    Marauder:
    2h Hammer, 2h Maul.

    Pugilist:
    Free-Hand Fighting.

    Lancer:
    Pole-Axe, Staff

    Archer:
    Crossbow (May Require different animations.)

    Rogue:
    Rapier and Buckler (May Require different animations.)

    Conjurer • Thaumaturge • Arcanist:
    Free-Hand Casting.
    Walking Stick.

    Come on, imagine the $$$!

    Since you called these as "weapon appearance" and then on the monk "no weapon appearance" sounded like they would not get one.
    Maybe word it like the Mages; Free-hand fighting or something.

    Anyways, back on topic:
    I am all for the options of more diversity and costumization options.

    Those probably will be other classes down the line. I imagine the Maladin and the Horrior will be very popular.

    Its easier to have classes forfill more then one role then make new classes that are way too similar to the other classes.

    Warrior is a specialized Marauder and Marauders are axe fighters.

    So a hammer for Warrior could be something like this (but bigger):

    In XIV the weapons decide the class. Equip an axe and you ae an axe fighter, called Marauder. Equip an hammer and you are not an axe fighter anymore, but a hammer fighter (class name not yet defined).

    What SE can do is removing the armory restrictions a bit again. So a player can level up a Hammer class and give it 15 Marauder skills from his Marauder.

    I've used both in real life. Whilst there is some weight differences, whats the big difference between an axe and hammer fighter?

    I mean, they are very different weapons for very different things. However the way you use them isn't all that different, even when you work with them.

    I don't remember any "axe" specializations when I played my Marauder and Warrior to 50, a lot of the things you faced with an axe a hammer would be much better.
