Hi All:
I thought some of the pros here could give me some assistance with gaining the ability to record very high quality videos.
After doing some research a while back, I decided to download and use OBS for my video recording software. I read many comments indicating it was one of the better ones to use (in addition to a few other names on the short list).
Although I'm happy with the few videos I've made so far, it seems I'm still not able to get that extra crisp look that some other users have on their videos. My videos are streaming at 1080 HD, but don't appear to be 100% HD....at least in the sense that what I see on my computer is very smooth, but the videos don't show the same thing.
for reference, here's a video of my Levi Ex that plays on YT in 1080 HD, and while the quality is good once the video plays as HD, it could be better, especially when I look at other user videos:

I'm assuming OBS has a maximum limit with respect to the video output (?) I currently have it set to max bitrate of 3500 (which I was told was the maximum), and the fps is set to 60.
Anyway, is there a setting within OBS that allows the output to get me extra crisp look, or does anyone recommend another program that I can download for free, or pay a small price for?
I've read a few comments about FRAPS, but it seems everyone is saying the output file is extremely large.
Lastly, just in case anyone is wondering about my own system, I ran the Heavensward benchmark and scored right around 10,500. I'm usually always at 60fps in-game, and everything runs very smooth. Even when I run the video capture, I don't really see any significant change in fps.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated! I just want to make sure I can make a video that looks as HD and smooth as what I'm seeing on my computer![]()
Thanks again!!
