Buy all the copies you want straight from www.finalfantasyxiv.com then the money goes directly to SE.

Though I wouldn't really know much about it, they're currently letting everyone play this game for free, so they must have enough money to be able to keep the servers running without receiving monthly subscriptions.

That being said, buying some of their other products is another way of actively donating to the company. Figurines, DVDs, games and all sorts of other things work.

Try out Final Fantasy 5, which sort of operates on the early single-player version of FFXIV's 'armory system', you can get it for the PS1 along with Final Fantasy 4, under the title Final Fantasy anthology.

Alternatively if you wanted to donate to the anime side that Enix operates, there's the Pani Poni Dash series on DVD, which is pretty funny and great fun to watch.

Buying their stuff let's them know that you like what they make, and helps fund them into making more of that stuff for you to enjoy

The game starts looking pretty good when it sells out.

Then stores will start looking into restocking it (or the PS3 version when it comes out).

Which means more money to SE in the FFXIV bucket.
Essentially. Just buy up more copies of the game and make your friends start playing lol. I mean if you're going to throw money at them either way you might as well support FFXIV specifically.

Im also using the remaining subscribtion fee on WoW to look on their forums for players whos bored and describes why they are bored. And if what they is what FFXIV can offer, then I'm trying to give FFXIV a fair chance.
I am also trying to get my own friends to at least try it. They say they dont like WOW as much anymore, but its just boils down to they dont want 6years of making up their character to got to "waste". And to have to start from scratch.

Btw, Konachibi. Adorable signature ^^ Cute

    Thanks ^.^

I tried to drag quite a few people over to FFXIV from Warcraft, mostly my guild and one of my rl friends. None of them accepted though since most are more looking forward to Star Wars: TOR, plus a fair few of them were elitists that only care about end-game content in mmo's and not the adventure and journey involved in getting there, which is where FFXIV truly shines.

Tbh I was looking forward to Star Wars: TOR too till I played this for the first time, now, those kinds of mmo's don't interest me, I like the pace this one moves at and the characters involved.

And making cute signatures out of them XD

Yeah the whole immersion of traveling through the world is what hooked me instantly. Every single player ive interacted with so far has been kind in return. I also remember getting on the ferry in Limsa Lominsa by mistake on my first day, and just loved that they included the travel instead of showing the Indiana Jones red dotted line from A to B.
In wow, everything is all about doing things quickly, level up, grind dungeons to be best geared possible. I have been like that myself for 6 years, spending 4 days a week raiding 4hours just to get best item level gear and then just waiting around for months for new raid content.
Professions is a joke, since there is too much Min/Maxing going on. Like me as Unholy DK has to choose either Jewelcrafting and Blacksmithing since they gave the most bonus stats. I like to do professions when im tired of doing quests all day.

I remember back in March when I bought a new mobile phone, and there was a trailer for FFXIV on it and I was so excited cause I knew then I may have stumbled upon my new MMO ive been looking for since Cataclysm only brought boredom.
BUT i misread the release date. I thought it was Sept 30 2011, so I spent 2 months waiting until the day I talked about FFXIV with a fellow WoW player and thats when I saw it was already out. I have never gotten into my car faster to get to first game store to buy a copy, and now my DK and Warlock is collecting dust in Blizzards storage bank

I know my writing can be very messy, but english isnt my native tongue, its norwegian ^^ So I apologize if what I write is hard to understand hehe

Cataclysm did pretty much kill Warcraft, too much hype for 5 new zones and 3 new raids, now it's bleeding players left, right and center.

Not that I'm complaining. Because Cataclysm killed the game, I moved here, and discovered a better and more fun way to play online, which also improved my mood too, (elitists get angry at noobs for doing noobish things, I get angry at elitists for being pig-ignorant, least to say I spent quite a lot of time being angry ), and a few other players I've spoken to moved here when Cataclysm took WoW down the slimy slope to slimesville, so you could technically say Blizzard donated to FFXIV by killing their terrible game with a terrible expansion pack XD

what is wrong with you people???? you don't reward people for making a craptastic game and then who move at a snails pace trying to cover up the old crap while making slightly better crap at the same time. there is a reason this game is FREE TO PLAY - GET A CLUE!!!!! And please spare me and the rest of the sensible people from your white-knighting, were just not interested.
