Yosh you literally never have a postive thing to say.

You know this guys is prolly liking his owns posts with another troll account. At least the mods don't delete every single one of your posts and accounts and usernames just because everyone else calls you a troll.
On topic, though, I agree that there are some good things coming, but many of the good changes are poisoned by simultaneous bad ones. It's as if they don't know how to leave well enough alone. And honestly, the amount of time they expend on making worthless and destructive changes could probably be spent on improvements instead. Change is not always synonymous with improvement.
And sometimes additions can have ramnifications on other systems which SE doesn't seem to understand. For example, you cannot change crafting by oversimplifying it without also influencing the demand of every item. (Coupled with the increase in localleves, then it's pretty safe to assume economy will stagnate). And another example is the job system. You can't insert jobs as advanced classes and still maintain the functionality of the armory system.
Sometimes it makes you wonder.
Having only joined the game about 3 weeks ago I'd had no previous experience in how the game played before a lot of the mechanics were changed, things like auto-attack and suchlike, nor did I have any clue as to what it looked like or played like. I'd tried to play Final Fantasy XI a few times in the past and all it did was confuse me. I have however been a long time fan of Final Fantasy games.
However when I Joined FFXIV I was looking for an MMO that could whole-heartedly pull me away from my 5 year long Warcraft addiction and put me into a nice, friendly, happy, sociable online game that was unique in aspect and broad in scope, as well as featuring those long-sought-after anime style quirks. I just finally wanted something to get me away from the elitists and terrible, horrible, disgusting, brainless community on that over-hyped pile of [insert profanity here]. The only reason I stuck with Warcraft for so long was there were no other mmo's out there that were enjoyable and had such a vast array of things to do.
Least to say I am extremely glad that I chose to ignore the bad reviews and rumours this game received and try it out, because it has everything I've always wanted, the linkshell I've joined is full of fun and friendly people, and since the game's only a year old, I know that if it follows suit with FFXI, there's going to be a LOT of new stuff being added for a very long time.
So in short-term, I'm really looking forward to riding chocobos by the end of this month or some time next month depending on if the patch gets delayed (I really hope not) and I'm looking forward to the Thief job, because I always like sneaky dual-wield dagger characters.
In long term, I'm looking forward to see if they build on the airship ideals and maybe make linkshell owned customisable airships, I'm REALLY hoping they add a dual-wield gunner class (The one thing I love more than dual-wield daggers XD), and I'm defenitely looking forward to all the new clothing that gets added, as I love to use my alt Ren as a barbie doll for all my new clothing creations
Also if Mor Dhona is anything to go by, new areas that get added in patches/expansions could be really impressive to see.
All the game needs is time and patience from it's players, and it'll turn out to be a fantastic game![]()
I cant wait for ishgard and garlean empire to be added and new dungeon/content + chocobos and airships!! ya i think by the beginning of the year the game will start to look very attractive to new comers!

Never thought i'd say this, but i really want to see Eorzea getting rid of copy/pasta and start to be original in terms of landscape for every territory. Let's say Gridania is being a village built on the big magical tree, and when it gets dark you can see tons of fireflies flying around it. Or Ul'dah being a big mobile fortress which moves on the sand and so on

Few minutes later:
"Where's it gone?? It's moved again! >:O"
