i'm looking forward to the hamlets and ifrit and all that stuff don't get me wrong, and i'ma enjoy playing this game ..i think. but some of you seem way too deluted ..or the mmo worlds are in trouble cause u need to leave the forums lol,(jk,jk?) u might make the devs think they can get away with shotty empty mmo's and still charge us like idiots.
There seems to be a schism between people who accept every announced change not at the value of the announcement but at some hidden value inherent in the word "change" itself and the people who have an idea of what a successful MMO should be... and can look at FFXIV and see what isn't there.

It's a bit silly to me. If someone has even the most minor concern about an announced change or a feature already in the game they get labeled as a whiner and are told to stop QQing, when to me it seems that the more we find to complain about the greater potential the game has for improvement.

There are alot of aspects about 1.19 that fill me with hope... and there are a few that just make me wince. I have tremendous respect for the whole dev team, I think they are doing incredible work... but at the same time that doesn't mean their actions are above questioning. They don't get a free ride... and if I don't think a change is justified or if I have concerns over the ramifications of how they are altering certain things I shouldn't have to combat such a large portion of the community just to express those concerns.
