the 50% exp bonus when they increase the lvl cap?
the 50% exp bonus when they increase the lvl cap?
Footloose?
Maybe we should tighten up our game.
Real talk. No, we wont lose rested bonus.
Why would they? Leveling would just be exceedingly more boring and tyring then it already is. The first class will have to be leveled without it anyways, and i dont see a reason for them to remove it as all the grind is in the "endgame" anyways x.x
He's not talking about rested bonus. He's talking about the 50% bonus exp on fates and mob exp if you have a class that is higher then the one you are currently getting the exp on
The 50% exp boost is only applied when you're leveling a class that is not your highest.
IE if you're leveling your main (first) class toward 60, you wont have a 50% boost.
If you're leveling a new job (starts at lvl 30) first, you get the 50% exp boost up to level 50.
You still have rested exp, but that's only applied to kills, not quests/FATEs.
What's likely:
Even if we keep the 50% bonus, SE will likely mkae sure to just have EXP buffed to take a certain amount of time with that extra EXP. If they take it away, they obviously already calculated the levels to take a certain amount of time. In the end, it ultimately doesn't matter - unless they give us a new "Max level bonus" at 60 overtop the current to help us level faster.
Actually I was wrong it's not actually a "max level" bonus, it is called the Armoury Bonus, and according to that it doesn't require any maximum level, and it should apply to any class that is not your highest. You can find more information on it here:

So yeah, what RiceisNice said.
If the bonus works the way it SAYS it does, there should actually be an increase in exp gained rather than a loss.
Though it probably caps out sooooo
If you are talking about the rested exp bonus - that bonus doesn't cap on a certain amount but is in direct relation to % of level gained. I tried that twice on my alt character, once from level 1-11 and once from 20-30 After letting it sit around 60 days in a resting area for the 20-30 part. The 1-11 was from sitting around a year or so lol
The resting exp bonus will give out if you level around 10 level. I.e. the bonus you'll get is only 3,25-3.5 level worth of exp until it caps out. So its perfect to level your first class purely with mobs/fates to 60, but after that you'll have to make due ^^. In retrospect it as well means that you can use up the same amount of bonus for fast leveling levels like 1-30 or use it to make higher level leveling faster. I for my part will not level any new classes at 3.0 but get 2 DoW to 60 straight away to get the highest amount of exp out of it ;x
