How do you unlock these? I'm at the main quest line where I need to do the one for level 50. I did the first guildhest (the enemy party) when it came up during the main quest line (level 10 or so) and figured I had to unlock them in order when this one popped up. So I found the list of them and went to the second guy on the list but he doesn't give me the second one to queue up for and I can't seem to queue up for the first one anymore.

Any help? =/

You have to actually do the guildhest then it will unlock the next one, you end up doing 9 of them for the story quests.

I did do the first one. You can't get past that part of the story line without it. That what I figured it went anyway. So I thought I should just queue for it again at my level but it won't let me queue for the first one anyone either so I dunno what to do.

You can always queue for older content, including guildhests. You'll be automatically level-synced down to the 'level cap' of the instance (11 in the case of the first guildhests), but you can do it.

You also don't have to go anywhere for them. Just do them straight from your Duty Finder; they unlock one after another.

How is it not letting you que for it, does it show it locked or greyed out? If I remember correctly, didn't you have to talk to a NPC before leaving the guildhest to actually complete it? If you didn't and just left it may not show as complete. I could be wrong about talking to someone in the actual hest though, been a while.

Nah, there shouldn't be such a condition. You will lose out on EXP/etc if you didn't talk to the NPC at the end, but it shouldn't stop it from counting as completed and definitely shouldn't lock you out of returning.

The only reasons I can think of you'd be unable to queue for a guildhest would be:
>Trying to enter it as a crafter/gatherer class, or any battle class below the level requirement (the game will tell you this specifically)
>You recently left another duty/missed too many duty queues and are on temporary lockout (the game will tell you this specifically)
>You're trying to queue with an invalid party (More than 4 people; 2-3 people with an invalid mix of classes for partial queueing ((eg two healers)); a Chocobo companion is currently summoned)

There is no guy. Once you get your introduction to the guildhest system, the various different hests are just entered from the Duty Finder. Are you confusing them with guildleves? Those ones you do pick up from an NPC, but that's a different system.

The one you did and the next one should be available under the "Guildhests" section of the Duty Finder.

The very first one is a part of MSQ and can be picked up from the Battlewarden npc in Swiftperch/Horizon/Bentbranch Meadows

After you complete each one, the next will simply appear in your duty list.

The very first one is a part of MSQ and can be picked up from the Battlewarden npc in Swiftperch/Horizon/Bentbranch Meadows

It is not a part of main story. You have to complete side quest "Leves of Swiftperch/Horizon/Bentbranch" to unlock the quest "Simply the hest". You can get the leve quest in the inn of your starting city. It is unlocked when you kill golem for story quest at lvl 9.
