    Fancy Macros?

Okay so I want to know where people are getting these really fancy macros with the pictures in them. I saw a warrior with one that I would love to have. When they cast Berserk, a picture of a really ripped cat pops up and says "Buff Kitty Mode". 30 Seconds later when it wears off, it says "Cute Kitty Mode" with a picture of a small adorable cat on it.

Does anyone know where i can find the directions for this macro?

I have a lot of macros like the one you speak of. They're ASCII images.

Exactly, look up ASCII images on the internet and copy/paste them into /p or whatever in your macro, however tbh I find the excessive usage of them that I have seen recently kind of annoying.

I'm tired of spam macros in general... Seriously, noone needs to know how awesome your soul is every time you use Spirits Within to silence ADS. Or you damnable summoners and your pokemon macros... or god, the million and 1 macros coming with the CCG references from Astrologians.

This one time in ST, there was a NIN who'd use /yell for jutsu macros. I wanted to flay him. They were all so cliche and Narutardish.

Yeah, no. The thing about using ASCII macros is that they're cute when you're cutting up with friends in fc chat, but if you're talking about using them repeatedly in spell/ability macros in dungeons and raids, that kind of thing will get really old really fast. Please don't.

In order of annoyance when doing a duty:
    1) that person that has any of the below but placed in /a
    2) that person that macros nearly every ogcd to something /p - usually with <se.#>
    3) that person that macros their most used ogcds to something /p
    4) that person that has a huge ascii something or other for some of their ogcd /p - usually accompanied by <se.#>

We once had someone in WoD when it was new (day one I think) who'd put a huge macro on his LB. He repeatedly missed with the LB due to this ridiculous countdown-cum-story-cum-sound extravaganza and just couldn't understand why we were politely telling him that the macro was a very bad idea.

I think it was about the third wipe on Cloud of Darkness that he finally got the message that his limit breaks kept missing due to the macro delay.
