Please make blacklisting apply to whole account - not just character! (RMT)

Many people are angry and frustrated as they keep getting multiple friend requests from what appears to be a single account. The individual keeps deleting their character, changing the name slightly and sending a new friend request. This creates a floating popup which frequently obscures bars or other essential information until you respond to the request (multiple click). Blacklisting does nothing to alleviate this.

Instead of blocking a single character with a blacklist, I am sure many would appreciate if the entire account was blocked. Perhaps this is the case already, but it does not appear to be so.

PS. Perhaps a GM should be put on investigating an account IMMEDIATELY if it gets a certain number of blacklists within a short period of time. This would certainly cut down on RMT.

Makes an awful lot of sense for regular use as well, if you're blacklisting them, you'll want to blacklist their alts as well.

It also comes with the added bonus that they can't make throwaway characters to harass you further.

Or let us block requests entirely as suggested in the other topic. I'm getting more and more sick of this type of spam. Also because of the fact that a clearly obviously single RMT (same URL used as character names + a slight variation at the end) can annoy so many players with impunity for weeks or even months. Even one of their bots, that I spotted many weeks ago, is still gathering lightning shards 24/7 in Central Thanalan.

If I blacklist someone, even if it is not a RMT, I don't want to talk to this person, nor his alts, ever again.
Please! Blacklisting a whole account instead of just a character would be a dream come true.

This would be a huge blow to RMT if implemented AND if everyone actually blacklisted spammers once implemented instead of just going /busy or turning off tells, as RMT'ers would have to throw way an entire account after just one spam character was used.
