You go on holiday for two weeks.

You add an extra day to your holiday once you get home to recover from jetlag.

You use that entire day to catch up on the large amount of leves you missed.

You catch up with your LS friends that shot ahead of you whilst you weren't playing.

Thinking on it, it's a nice system to promote social playstyles rather than the more hardcore 'play for 12 hours a day, everyday' people. You can sit back, relax, do a few leves, then go and watch Thundercats for a bit without worrying about falling behind everyone else.

So yeah I'll miss my 4 extra leves, but I can see reason for why they're making this change. Besides, it mentioned in it somewhere that when we complete all our leves we can do some kind of repeat leve, if that can be done at a constant then theoretically i can do as many leves as I want to in a day, unless I'm not quite understanding the system right?

Missing 4 leves per 36 hours is the equivalent of missing one leve cycle per week right now. While I do miss the odd cycle due to trips away they don't average out at a rate of 1 per week. So I don't even see that as a benefit.

what i am not a fan of is they could have done these same changes with the 16 leves every 36 hours. it was extra work they put in which slowed down some other change they could be taking care of when it was not needed. i will miss doing those 4 extra leves per reset.

those 4 leves can come down to 8-10k in guild marks i could pick up.

If you are not playing casually there will be a time where you wont be doing Leves at all!~

I still think now is not the time to be investing much time in the game anyway. Everyone is applying the changes judging how the game is now =/ an incomplete free game with very little content.

you mean just like the people that got the unfinished battle system and game to start with and judged that? who are you to say there will be a time i won't be doing leves at all? i enjoy leves much more than pull and spank mobs in a group i can solo.

I meant that in a merry way thinking about all the content we should have by the time they start charging and definitely not serious enough to make it seem like no one will be doing Leves at all. What I am expecting is something akin to FFXI, so much things do, so little time, minus the negative time sinks thats all.

I feel with all the content introduced to level up, for DoL, DoW and DoH it should be way better than doing Leves and going as planned by the Dev Team, Leves not being central to the game, but other more fun stuff. Next time, you might see yourself dividing your time to do different things for your DoH classes not even taking into account leves because there might be a better way to rank up who knows. That's all I meant.

And that's why I brought up my second statement: Everyone is judging what they like to do at the moment, playing with an unfinished game. You are free to judge however you like and want, I wont judge anything until they ask for my money, then I'll take into account everything; Leves refresh rate versus other content.

To me this change is a nerf to the hardcore players, I see it as 12 every 36 instead of 16 every 36.

Maybe because the leves are for casuals? ^^

Now you get 8 battle/field leves and 8 local every 36h, after this change you get 4 free slots every 12h, but you are not forced at all to do either battle or craft or whatever you can invest them as you want.

Are you casual and only play hard on weekends? get all the "slots" of the week and burn them down on battle leves to level up your char, or use some on local leves to keep it even.

Are you a hardcore player who plays a lot each day? Use exp party with the added bonus to chains to level up your battle jobs and burn the "slots" as 12 local leves every 36h (that's actualy 4 more than before).

I don't see why ppl complain really. You would have problems if you want to level up DoL jobs as the same pace as a DoH job, since now you can do 8 leves of each kind per 36h, but if you are a hardcore player you have time to invest leveling them in the "proper way", aka get the hell out of the city and farm.
