You have to make sacrifices somewhere if you want to diversify. I'm not saying it's a perfect system but it hardly warrants the amount of complaining it's seeing. Often even if I split my efforts I would never use all 8 local leves because I would never be able to find that many in the range for the craft I'm leveling.

As long as one does not have to sacrifice, it is perfectly acceptable.
