    I'm looking forward to these changes. I don't usually have a lot of time to play during the week, so when I do get some time to play I should have a nice allowance of leves to use.

    I think this way gives you a lot more choice in your play style too. As well as allowing you to do the leves when you want to do them, rather than being stuck in a 36 hour cycle, combining all the leves in to a single category means that if you want to focus more on a single job you have a lot more freedom to do so but the option is still there if you want to throw in some variation.

    This should make linking a whole bunch easier.
    Everyone should be able to get every possible variant of a certain camps leves:

    Say you have a r35+ Full Party, and you all have around 16 leve allowance.

    Every member can (theoretically) get the same 8 r40+ leves (if they keep the max amount of leves carried the same) for (using Grid as a reference point) for Camp Nine Ivies, and proceed to get 8/8 links for every leve started.

    After doing that, people may choose to drop out, and the party may go back to grid, and get 8 of the same r40+ leves for Treespeak, and get full links on that.

    Makes me wonder if they are going to limit leve selection types, or linking bonuses in some way.

    You lose 4 total leves per 36 hours however you can do whatever you want with the 8 you get per day. If you want to focus on gathering then you can take all the gathering leves you can handle each reset. It's not split so you have more freedom of what you do with your leves.

    one thing i would have to wonder is say for example is i am wanting to work on miner and i had built up like 20 points would be the way the points add up. for example, could i go run the treespeak leves and run back and grab those same leves over again 10 times and use all 20 points built up on the same leves over and over? that's how it seems, but kinda sucks they are lowering the amount of leves you get per 36 hours.

    i have a set method i've been using since 1.18 that works well with 8 crafting, 4 gathering, and 4 battle. i guess battle leves will get neglected after this one for me, but otherwise not bad to be able to build them up if you can't get them completed during the week.

    @Darkstar that's how its going to work, you can run the leves as many times as you want. Basically we're giving up some leve variety for more flexibility in how we can choose to run them. I for one am planning to focus a bit more on crafting and gathering leves since I can set aside a day to do just those without much restraint.

    Finally, no more (lamely self-applied) pressure to try and do leves every 36h, fearing to lose easy optimal sp. Perfect system for average playtime players and casuals.

    Really good decision from Yoshida and his team.

    The only nice thing about this is I will be completely done with crafting(all 50) when this hits so i can use 12 per "old cycle" on fishing and combat
