European Site Heavensward CE Physical box PC Sold out

Hello about 2-3 weeks ago i have preordered a CE box editon for pc for my self, today i was looking to preorder another one for a friend and to my surprise i see its on sold out status on the european site but not the north american one.


Can you please let us know if there is going to be more before release?

It is not possible to address the issue since there is stock on the NA site?

Also my friend is on NA but i would purchase it from europe site (and give him the game code) there is an issue with the code i will receive?

I'm not a representative of SE so I can only speculate, but I would guess there aren't plans to sell any more. I say this because their site has the facility to do backorders/shows items not currently in stock and in this case they haven't used that here.

I read what you said about getting an NA one, but that one will be pre-packaged with NA codes which leads onto your next question:

Yes. You/he must buy the expansion from the SAME region as the main game (EU, NA or JP). Getting a code from a different region simply won't register/work (much the same way as if the game code was bought from Steam then the expansion has to also be from Steam and vice-versa).

Sadly you can't change your region later either which I've heard causes a lot of problems for some people who have since moved and their new region simply doesn't sell the expansion. There were many examples in the past with people having region lock problems even trying to register minion/bonus codes from other regions and being unable to do so.
