    Some great advice given here

Eos - I use rarely, if ever. However, yep, she will blow her abilities as soon as the come off cooldown. This can be troublesome especially with when extra adds appear. If she uses whispering dawn before or during their appearance, Eos will take hate and make the tanks life a little more difficult.

    Generally speaking:
Eos - I manually control all abilities and have them on a comfortable position on my hotbar
Selene - Depending what i'm doing, i tend to leave her on Sic and trust her to heal who needs it. Using rouse after/just before high party damage can mean you can focus on the tanks and let your fairy heal up party members (with your emergency heals thrown out as needed).

Macros - I don't really have any. I'm currently in a tug of war whether to macro together embrace + physics, embrace + lustrate, embrace + adlo. I'm kinda thinking against it, because i like my fairy to have the freedom to heal others when i'm focusing on one or two people for massive damage.

**addition** only reason for me thinking of macroing these abilities up is for extra healing focused on tanks. Scholar can feel a little behind in heal strength just spamming adlo and physic lol.

    I have seen this:

It seems low health its SCH>closest caster>closest melee>then by distance.

It shouldn't too much of an issue as her heals should be seen as additions not a necessity in the grand scheme of content.

I can't vouch for that priority in it's entirety, but the SCH definitely has highest priority. After a while, I end up anticipating the fairy's heals, and you can often see where they're headed with the targeting line. There are occasional instances where I'd like to brain Eos, such as spamming Whispering Dawn, watching Eos dither about for a moment, then casting Embrace on someone instead.

Rotations are for dps. Healer skills are all situational, you need have a look of "what's goin on" on the group and act accordly:

    - If tank is low geared and lose massive hp from the start, you cannot ever think to go cleric.
    - If group goes fine and hp not an issue, you can use Selene for the dps buffs (little but better than nothing).
    - If keep group alive is challenging, Eos is a must.
    - Some debuffs must be cleared asap, and some other can be ignored. You must learn also what mob debuffs are.

About your pet, selene can stay on sic full time, her buffs have cd = uptime so she just spam them, eos instead you may want obey to call group help at times you know are good. Obey on both when you solo around for your quests, just in case you want pull mob away (pet does it automatically as soon as the skill in range, and there are times you dont want it happen). An important thing to learn is pet positioning: you want your pet stay in key positions and don't move from there. Just keep account she dismisses if you go too far from her.

Fine-tuning your dps is 1% of your job. Yes it is a great help when party undergeared (and fails dps checks and blame you for their incompetence), but not your main issue.

Anyone who strives to be a skilled SCH (or WHM, for that matter) needs to learn when and how to DPS effectively and how to manually control both fairies. Sic-Selene isn't terrible, but she's far from optimal; sic-Eos is something that should never, ever be seen.

Learning to manually direct Embraces hugely boosts your overall HPS and helps keep windows open to DPS.

LalaRu makes a good point about healing not really being dependent on rotations; situational awareness and overall knowledge of encounters is definitely key.

I have these on my main SCH hotbar: Adlo/Embrace combo, Physick/Embrace combo, Adlo by itself and Physick by itself. The latter two are because I don't want Eos/Selene to always be locked to my GCD healing the same target- like if I'm always doing Physick/Embrace on the tank (or the Adlo version), that means Eos can't heal someone else in a situation where we'd ideally be healing two party members at once (like me casting Physick/Adlo on the tank while the fairy heals a DPS if they both took damage). WHM's have stronger AOE heals than we do so getting in a situation where we have to heal everyone one at a time from low HP can be risky if the fairy is locked to the same target as us. But it does have its benefits (extra strong single target heals) when we need it, so I keep both options on the crossbar, and there's one other scenario in which I use the combined Physick/Embrace combo that's super helpful- healing while dodging.

If I'm having to heal on the run, I'll hit the button for my Physick/Embrace combo and Physick will cancel out because of me running, but Embrace will still go off if Eos/Selene is still in range of the target since she doesn't move until you move a certain distance. You can practice this out by casting it on someone while running in circles around them- Physick doesn't go off, but Embrace does (and at a cost of 0 MP). While I could accomplish this with Embrace set to its own spot on my crossbar, space is already at a premium for SCH as it is and this accomplishes what I want it to, and is useful in multiple scenarios:

    Macro Code:
    /micon "Physick"
    /ac "Physick" <t>
    /pac "Embrace" <t>

When Physick alone is sufficient of course, that's what I use. And on the really rare occasion I have an MP problem and want a free heal cast I'll use this, and cancel the Physick part to use the free-MP Embrace cast instead.

That's how I used to do it as well, but I'm a big advocate of having an Embrace <mo> hotkey since I made the switch.

Being able to direct Embraces without switching your hard target and without needing either to commit or to move-interrupt a hard cast is even more liberating. I highly suggest trying it out even if you're a person (like me) who never used mouse over targeting before.

I'd love to do that, def a good idea, but I'm on PS4 and while I do have a trackpad mouse on my keyboard I've found its not really usable in combat. So I guess using the macro is the ghetto version lol but for players tied to a controller like me if recommend it.
