I've been trying to make sense out of the contradicting reactions towards the nerf myself.I don't get all the hate about the nerf to steps of fate.
people complained about everyone leaving the instance- so a nerf was needed to stop that
and 2nd you need to pass steps of faith to enter 3.0 so of course they are going to make it as accessible as possible- I was surprised they left it at its normal difficulty for so long.
because it didnt need a nerf thats probably why theres so much hate for the steps of faith nerfing... it wasnt hard and it definately wasnt challenging.. just needed a little teamwork but yeah = = whats gonna happen in 3.0 + ?? if similar battles come along majority while whinge n whine for nerfs over n over n over again = =I don't get all the hate about the nerf to steps of fate.

The problem is seeing how people rather give up then try to do anything that requires more than facerolling on the keyboard. To the point where they need to nerf the thing to oblivion so it is even doable. I never left on a SoF roulette, and always tried (in vain, I must admit) to teach people to do it. I'm glad I got my clear after 15 or so tries, with the normal difficulty. People are too lazy to stop being baddies, and that sucks some serious arse.
That's why we can't have nice things.
SE will think 10 times now before adding anything original for us to play. Way to go, you lazy arses.
So all the QQers get to have a weaker form of the SoF...now watch them QQ massively when the first instances in Heavensward are at the level of the original SoF setup. You only hurt yourselves when you do this people.
Unless it was accidental wording, "Ahriman and Bomb mount (from Kobolds) as well as primal horses will all fly. First one to fly will be Kirin.". Source.
Kirin will be the first, but all primal horses will at some point fly (although "first" was phrased with a question mark lol). Sleipnir would technically be a primal horse.

Another totally useless patch...that they consider is worth a .01 increase...
/facepalm
/disappointed
Nothing sensible again. I really am utterly disappointed. @.@
We're not allowed to have anything remotely "difficult" in this game, aren't we?
