Moogle's Theme from FF5 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYHHu7qLy1E ) is the original source for Good King Moggle Mog, and FF5 came out for the Super Famicom in 1992, one year before Nightmare before Christmas came out in October 1993.

So regarding that reference, Disney's "This is Halloween" more accurately sounds like a Square Co. game theme, not the other way around :P

It's a similar melody, but i think the fight theme definitely took inspiration from the disney/tim burton movie. From the ensemble vocals to the strings and bells. It has the exact same cadence.

I like how SE added Biggs and Wedge from Star Wars into their games. For those who don't know, Disney acquired Lucasfilm a few years ago making Biggs and Wedge applicable to this thread.
