The acquisition doesn't make long-running NPC's from other FF's suddenly relevant to this thread... o.O

Haha what? I never would've posted the comment if Lucasfilm wasn't owned by Disney and SE didn't make references to Lucasfilm characters in their game. Whether or not they've been in previous FF games is irrelevant. I'm just drawing a link between the company and fictional characters that are now owned by said company.

Biggs and Wedge have been in other Final Fantasy before the acquisition.

Saying they were added to FFXIV means just that. You should not misinterpret it as "added for the first time."

I'm hoping for an Eorzea world in KH3 where you join the Scions and fight the Empire. I'm also hoping for keyblade glamours in ARR to cross promote it.

Y'shtola might show up, but I don't think there'll be a world. Keyblade glamours would be sweet for XIV, though.

I'd love, and pay expansion prices for, a Traverse Town FFXIV expansion. No level cap or ilvl cap raise needed. Just extra quest chains that bounce you around to different worlds, vanity items, titles, minions. Maybe even new housing areas.

In 1.23 some of the mog weapons would burst out yellow stars when you landed a critical. It was very keyblade-esque.
