All I honestly care about is the housing thingy. Ah well a year to hope I have enough to catch a plot before Hyperion's bloated population eats it all up again. XD

It's not a good sign if the developer tells you to buy whatever house you can get rather than waiting.
I believe that Kirin should've been able to fly...a nice reward for all that farming and it makes sense if we think about the lore behind Kirin. The other horses though seems a bit too much. Especially Goobue mount being able to fly? Fat Chocobo was pushing it, but this is going a bit too far.
I'd rather they focus on creating new flying mounts

@Summerside
Right. It will be so unrealistic for horses that have fire, lightning, or ice coming out of their feet to fly. I mean, elemental horses in real life can't fly. So, why would they allow it in a fantasy game.
I'm glad the primal ponies will be able to fly.
Also, requested emotes for 3.1?! Will I finalllyyyy get facepalm?!
Any word if the collector's edition Griffon can be used as a ground mount as well?
Anyone else think there's a very high chance they'll just slap us in the face, and it won't give us any kind of advantage or head start on the new relic? I mean a lot of time, effort and gil was invested. It'd be a shame for all of that to just fizzle out and give us a "slightly easier time".
"... and so I close, realizing that perhaps the ending has not yet been written."
Happens all the time when a new expansion hits. Normally there are no consideration for people who spend x hours and/or x gold on it in other MMOs, people just move on and farm up new gear.Anyone else think there's a very high chance they'll just slap us in the face, and it won't give us any kind of advantage or head start on the new relic? A lot of time and effort has also been spent by people who got their T13 weapon. Why make it useless in the expansion? I am enraged!Anyone else think there's a very high chance they'll just slap us in the face, and it won't give us any kind of advantage or head start on the new relic? At least have a reason to continue with my Zodiac weapon...
Only good news for those FC's with a House. Those without are SoL.
This is good news... Though will there be a limit to how many alliances a FC can have?
My main concern. As a member of a FC currently without a House (no free plots at all on Balmung), news that there'll be no housing in Ishgard for 1-2 years, is disconcerting. Especially with FC Airships (not to mention being unable to garden for rare items/chocobo coloring/etc), FC's like mine will be left out on the lurch, while others get to fully enjoy the benefit. Some new housing wards to the current areas would be helpful in this regard, but on high population servers where there are some members/FC's with multiple houses, all of this new content being 'restricted' to those fortunate enough to get a House... is a letdown.
Also, rather hard to buy a 'large one now', when there's none left for sale and to purchase one via those 'selling' is a fool's game.
