So here is my conspiracy theory. SE could not care less. What they do care about is to create the illusion they fight this egregious battle with everything they can. That way they don't feel the heat of the community. Unfortunately for them time told us they're not even trying and here is why.

Bots keep items alive. Subs are being payed. It eats up precious man hours to "investigate" accounts. Banning bots by the dozen would also mean they'd have to ban GIL BUYERS. One would be a bit credulous to think SE can't spot a gil buyer within seconds. They rather have the sub money which is totally understandable from a business' point of view. The spam on EU/NA servers also tells us that it's a big market so that's loads of subs to ban. SE will not touch it.

I'm on Odin and the last couple of months has been rediculous. I do not care anymore if people buy gil and keep these bots alive. However, do something about tells and friendrequests (friendrequest are horrid to deal with) please.
