Maybe I'm just lucky and getting grouped with the right people because 99% of the time, I could swear this isn't even the issue.

Either way, assuming the battle isn't too hectic, why not just speak up as soon as you see this happen the first time? "Hey, just a heads up, you can dispell X! Keep an eye out for it!" or something...or anything along those lines...

It's better than saying nothing and if they listen, you've just helped them improve and insured a better experience for their future party members. #grouphug

Made a post about this a couple of months ago and we had a good discussion about this. I try to remove any time I can but without some sort of heads up it's tough to remove it quickly. Most of the time when I see it, I'm mid cast on another spell. I've seen a couple of tanks use macros that say "need leeches in 4...." makes it 100% easier on everyone.

By the time you're done healing everyone and noticing that, it goes away in like 2 seconds, so it's never a big deal.
Mind you, I try but I am sure they can hold aggro for 2 seconds lol. It's just a waste of anyones time.

Nah, actually a healers job is to keep the group alive, everything else is called different play styles, it doesnt matter how much i esuna or heal, as long as it leads to sucess.
Its pretty short minded, in my opinion, to call people bad, just because they dont contribute to making your run faster.

OP is most likely talking about casual debuffs like paralyzis and slow.. and if you tell someone "Hey, you can dispell Paralyzis you know?" he going to be pissed 90% of time lol.

I can get it if there is something more important to handle, but if they're not doing it, and there is nothing else to deal with, that means that the rest of the team is making up for the healers short comings. Its lazy. Everyone should be trying to do their job to the fullest of their ability.

If a WAR OT is maintaining DPS output to push phases and gets pacified before adds spawn that 5 seconds that you didn't spend to leeches could very well be the difference between a successful run and a wipe.
    Oh, please.

I hate to break it to you, but you're not that important.

So.. you're saying that grabbing adds isn't important? or are you saying you prefer dead healers? I'm not entirely sure what it is you think isn't important.

Its really as simple as this:

A Pacified tank (WAR) cannot grab adds, nor can they tank swap for mechanics that necessitate it. I'll give you one guess as to who those adds are going to make a run for though while your warriors are asking for that esuna/leeches.

    Your Healers

As someone who doesn't get a lot of TP from his support, my pacification is my me-time. I actually go out of my way to tell people not to esuna/leech my pacification. I'm not expecting to be ready to attack in those five seconds, nor do I really wish to.
Yes, it's a huge DPS gain for the warrior, but in larger, longer fights (looking at you, coil) my TP drain is a serious concern. And my tank build has 0 added skill speed at that! Rockin' that slow 2.5 GCD.

On the subject of overall esuna/leech uses, I find a lot of healers don't think they can remove it since there's a lot they can't, and simply never try. Odin is a fine example. I can straight up tank that guy the entire fight if a healer can keep on top of the stacking vulnerability debuff he gives me. But more often than not, most healers simply don't think they can, so they don't try. And it leads to my death oh so often.

Outside of raid content, I'll leech everything but low-damage poison. Eos/Selene will take care of healing through that. I luv my fairies <3
