Yes, yes you are. Sorry to say it, but it's kind of our job to heal people and if you're not doing that much you're not doing your job. Doesn't matter how trivial the content, ignorance breeds contempt and just leaves a sour taste in everyone's mouth.

Neither leeches nor Esuna are adversely affected by Cleric Stance, so I find it's rarely a problem to simply cast if regardless of which stance I'm in. If they're taking damage, that's a different matter, but status effects are plane sailing.

Nah, actually a healers job is to keep the group alive, everything else is called different play styles, it doesnt matter how much i esuna or heal, as long as it leads to sucess.
Its pretty short minded, in my opinion, to call people bad, just because they dont contribute to making your run faster.

It's better than saying nothing and if they listen, you've just helped them improve and insured a better experience for their future party members. #grouphug
OP is most likely talking about casual debuffs like paralyzis and slow.. and if you tell someone "Hey, you can dispell Paralyzis you know?" he going to be pissed 90% of time lol.

The problem here is that it's rarely just status. At the very least, you're in a position to take a sizable amount of damage when you get hit by it. The is especially true if there is more than one status condition/stacked status.

Most skills which inflict a status effect are low damage hits. The few that aren't are heavily telegraphed and are intended to be avoided, stunned or silenced. Obviously, you play things by ear and adjust your tactics to the situation. Heals should always take first priority, but I'm not dropping Cleric's just for a weak poison or paralysis if the tank doesn't actually need any heals.

Sorry, but if you're ever in that situation then the Tank has already messed up. Firstly by not timing their berserk better, and secondly by not using Flash.

Besides which, if your team is weak enough to be wiped in 5 seconds of aggro you have far greater problems than pacify.
