Paralysis on a BLM is absolute death on their DPS. And it should always have priority after healers/tanks. If I have an unavoidable paralysis or even that DPS reducing debuff from gaols, I'll just transpose and sit there until they run out if I'm not getting esuna/leeches. It's not like I'll be damaging anything anyways. Sure there are exceptions but for the most part it's because they are lazy, or don't know their job.

If you're not going to play your job correctly, then why should I?

Because if you are getting hit with paralysis, you more than likely weren't doing your job of dodging it. And BLMs can and should be using Spine drops?

I'm not saying Healers shouldn't be using Enusa/Leeches. But when you get hit by avoidable status, you not only cut your DPS but Healer DPS as well, which is can be more significant than not being able to use Fire 1 for a second.

T1/T2 as an example with bards/paladins failing to use silence would like a word with this assumption. I shouldn't have to bring an obscure item to fix a problem the healers have plenty of bandwidth to do themselves. This is just making excuses. They have plenty of power with gear and echo to heal and still cast esuna on people that the paralysis hurts the most.

It's a big generalization to just say a player shouldn't have received the debuff at all. That's ignorant of the sheer variety of ways we get debuffed in this game.

Like I said in my original reply unavoidable paralysis. But I understand, reading is hard.

When exactly does unavoidable paralysis occur? Usually those types of status like Melt can't be removed.
