Where can I get alot of Wind Shard?

I need Wind Shard where can I get alot of them, I know I can mine them one at a time at
Central Shroud.

Apart from the obvious answer, Market Board, you could send miner or botanist retainer gather them. The better their gathering stat is, the larger amount they will haul, so even if the shards are level 1 gather for them, leveling them and then kitting them with better gear helps to get larger hauls.

My miner/botanist retainers are roughly on level 30 and their gathering stat is currently in about 150 and they bring 60 shards in 40 minutes. The time decreases from the initial 1 hour when the level difference between your retainer level and the level of the item they gather grows.

Quickest way is to buy them off the MB. Otherwise gather them yourself(lvl 30). Maps have a chance to drop shards and there is also levequests that will give shards as a reward after you complete it.

well i was kind of hoping for places i can go as of now getting 3 shard per nodes for mining...

There's a wind elemental farming spot i noticed a while back that bots use to afk blm kill farm em.
They spawn like every 5 secs and theres like 3 of them which have dropped 1-4/5 wind shards lol.
They are like level 3 or something so its easy to farm and are close together.
Its near the entrance to costa del sol - lower la noscea entrance i think ( moraby drydocks area )

Mine them yourself. Without breaking into a sweat, you can mine/farm 600 shards per hour. Find a cluster of 4, and go from one to the other to bla bla bla. And remember to use the various wards that increase your yield by 2 shards, crystals, and clusters per whack. Or, when you harvest ores or lumbers, or ANYTHING, spend 10 minutes harvesting the closest shards and crystals (You WILL need them later). 10 minutes gets you 60, and believe it or not they add up quickly even "one at a time". And if you've farmed your 60, you'll often farm until you get 100 or whatever goal you set. You can find them by checking your farming/mining location guide. I now have to buy an average of 1500 shards per day, but I still will spend a few minutes harvesting them for old time's sake.

The same level 30 node groups that offer crystals also include a node that has the "Gathering Yield +1" bonus, so (if you're at least level 30) when you want a bunch of shards, you can look up the corresponding crystals in your Gathering Log to find the best shard gathering spot.

Note that some crafting leves will give a large amount of shards (around 30) as part of the completion reward, and they all give some.
