Swimming and underwater content?

I actually thought, before the game came out, that they would be implementing "Jumping" and "Swimming" to the game. Of course no one wants a copy of WOW, just like no wants to play FFXI again (talking about the other subjects like Classes, AH, MH, Party flag inv and search etc...)
But why not take the most fun of these two great games and make an awesome one?

I can't imagine how can FF go underwater... but it's interesting.

Now i'm not saying we should also have underwater battles, well unless it is done really well and it's fun.
