Swimming just would not work. The Oceans aren't even water, they're a texturized floor. There's so much other stuff I'd rather see done. This is just a little too ambitious. Interesting, but just not something I really care about.

Basically this. You can't explore something that isn't there.
Now if they were to design deep sea zones, which given the lore behind the Sahagin seems possible, and were they to introduce it in a way that made sense(IE. nothing like WoW or any other cartoon of an MMO) within the context/physics of the world, then I'd be for it.

I actually thought, before the game came out, that they would be implementing "Jumping" and "Swimming" to the game. Of course no one wants a copy of WOW, just like no wants to play FFXI again (talking about the other subjects like Classes, AH, MH, Party flag inv and search etc...)
But why not take the most fun of these two great games and make an awesome one?

Super Mario Brothers taught it to them.
Joking aside, swimming content and even ways to simulate said content fairly as a challenge(breath and all) was introduced in Everquest, complete with underwater bosses and spells to extend breath.
I read this and saw "Swimming and underwear content".
I'm against swimming, or rather, it doesn't matter. It probably won't be designed well anyway, making it a huge waste of time.
But underwear content? Bring it on.
