Swimming and underwater content?

i think general swimming would be silly, especially for combat but just as a way to move around. >.> i dont think ive read anyone mention simple things like being able to wade waist deep in water to cross a larger/deeper than normal stream at just a slight slower movement speed things like that would be good.

idk how lalafell would handle it, maybe just have them wade through at certain points that arent so deep, but more interaction with water in general. Was really disappointed with the current water in XIV because of its lack of basic splash for even just footprints which FFXI got down.

Generally think swimming would be silly, but adding more detail or areas where you can get experience like the above would be great. only Two places ive seen where you can cross rivers are at Riversmeet by walking over rocks/waterfall and streams in Blackshroud

To be honest, I think Square need to be more versatile with the terrain they add into the game, like, a glacial zone, a tropical zone, a desert zone, some sort of aquatic zone would compliment an expansion beautifully if they added content that made it work, such as underwater NM battles etc, that'd be amazing
