Triple Triad - New Gathering Class Suggestion

I understand this subject has been brought up, and Yoshi-P is waiting for the perfect idea to reach his desk.

However, I personally would be overjoyed with a straight port of Triple Triple triad from FF8 to FFXIV, with only changing the pictures on the cards. Although I think this system might be too simple and limited for an MMO. Tetra Master is an option, but the fact that it is its own subscription-based entity tied to FFXI may be a stumbling block.

The one thing I think would be really great though would be a new gathering class that could turn enemies into cards similar to FF8.

Just an early idea, anyone have some thoughts?
